It may be difficult to find Border Terrier breeders in the USA, but in the UK, this breed is very popular and many kennels breed these dogs for sale. Though originated as hunting dogs, Border Terriers are nowadays used mostly as pets and therapy dogs. They possess a typical terrier personality, but lack aggression towards people and dogs. Border Terriers are very intelligent and easy to train and housebreak. They don’t need any special care and much exercise, if you don’t plan to show the dog, but want just a family companion.
